@Jeremy Clendenin I would check and make sure there no outstanding liens on the property if there’s an HOA You’ll want to know that number or fee and if the HOA has a lien against the condo, Who knows maybe the previous owner didn’t like the HOA so he never paid his dues ?

I understand there alot of "shoulds" in the post but:.....It is my understanding that the only liens that survives first mortgage foreclosure are HOA, prop. taxes, utility bills, irs liens which has a redemption period as only recourse, and liens recorded before first mortgage, which unless bank and title company really messed up shouldn't exist.
