CT does have properties in my range its just a little far to travel if I get a call and I want to be a very hands on landlord.

This is our main reason for focusing on the UK market.So yes, there is some travel involved, but not immense, as we will have a trusted team to rely on.However, we are naturally also looking at the Danish market, but in doing so, we are pretty much on our own, as they do not know the Danish market.

We may see some times that may haven't travelled that path.

She is an empty nester and her husband travels frequently so she really is looking to get involved.

We're having a great time on our travels, though it's not all rosy.

I live in Jacksonville, FL and travel extensively for work, but am looking at Augusta, GA for investments.

The money is the enabler to make the things that do motivate me (traveling, working with children, etc) a reality. 

Pros of turnkey:- Ready to go with property management in place- No fix up required- Can invest in lower price points in certain markets, think midwestCons of turnkey:- Usually out of state investments, might be a hassle to travel (especially from HI)- Have to build a team (PM, agent, contractors, ect) in another state- Then you have to trust the team you built...The list goes on and on.
