Thanks for all the advice, after a night's sleep, I have decided to sell it as-is.

For example, a 4 bedroom that sleeps 8 at the same price as a single hotel room, should do well as a value play to those people who still need to travel. 

Is the squatter in there with a sleeping bag and a "nest"?  

On the one I bought in the suburbs that had redemption rights, I let sleeping dogs lie; if I had not, they would have redeemed (they had the money to do so but for some reason chose to not pay the taxes).

No, it doesn't have the glitz and glamour of those highly appreciating areas that have now popped, but I can sleep a whole lot better knowing that I will be in the black next month and the month after that just like I was last month and the month before.

Four years ago, while i was sleeping, i had a dream that I acquired Very Massive Real Estate properties. 

Hotels might be a 100$ a night but you sleep mindless in terms of how they will left the apartment when they have to return to the complex.

Don't be worried about the bank, but if you want to lose sleep look up civil asset forfeiture.

@Brian Zitzowwell, it's a duplex, and both sides are rented ... if you vacate one side ... the numbers will be even more atrocious ... what are you going to do, sleep on a cot in the basement?
