We are over a month past our moveout date (I looked into GA law and it states the landlord has one month to return the check) and we have not received any sort of response or a check.At the end of the day, he still owes us over $1,300 regardless of how he handles our dispute to the charges.

As far as who owns the trust or who is a beneficiary, that's the trustee's fiduciary responsibility to sort out.A living trust is frequently set up to use the trustors ssn rather than an EIN, so I can see someone saying "it's not a legal person" in a poor attempt to explain something to you.

I was thinking that the owner financing terms are better terms then the HML so try and use that for the larger amount.
