Another odd place that is kind of hidden as far as great short term rental opportunities is in and around Bath due to BIW (Largest employer in the state) needing to hire sub-contractors to come in and work.  

Moreso than an MLS listing IMHO.So I would recommend you wait until the house is ready and then hire a professional photographer to take about 20-30 great pictures.It's worth the wait, you don't want to start your STR journey on the wrong foot.....

I sleep much better when I know what is going on with my real estate investments.If you need to hire a property manager, my suggestion is gets lots of references and talk to those references prior to signing.
