A good chunk of my CORE portfolio is invested using the asset allocation strategy (different types of index funds) managed by a robo advisor.

It would have to be in an LLC to prevent something from happening that easily attaches to my personal assets.

But the bottom line is they were using the D class assets as the base of their collateral or talking investors into buying them.. they raised a good amount of money through Alternative investment securities brokers mainly guys that rip people off selling high priced annuities.. 

I would consider rental yield and general local market asset appreciation to take the call.For example, I have a triplex and one of my units is getting vacant which was under rented by $200 a month I know I should not be spending more than $4800 on the unit (200*24).

If it works with you and your personality, then you can continue on to do bigger deals in the same asset class.

All those are great books to start with, but consider rick dad poor dad as a very broad and widely applicable book on the concept of buying assets.

I don’t believe the digital wall mounted controller is operated by batteries.

These are structured differently with us either getting points upfront and a continuing service fee and/or part of the note discount on note purchase.On real property syndication we make money by charging 4-6 points brokerage fee (I hold licenses in 4 states), asset manager fee, and 20% of capital gains after investor preferred return of 8% annually.  

It's likely that before you know it, days will have turned into weeks, and weeks will have turned into months, and months will have turned into years and the tenants will have paid off your mortgage in exchange for a nice place to live and you, not NBKC, will own the asset.  :-)
