The city condo will carry more risk with being in Cook County, Chicago laws, & HOA making decisions.

So if it's a liberal-conservative thing you're referring to, I'd suggest the liberals are certainly eating their own cooking when it comes to landlord-tenant laws. 

If the property is in Chicago proper then you have to make sure you're using the right lease as Chicago's requirements are different than the rest of Cook County and different than Illinois. 

Floors should be clean and free of oil and fluids

The only thing that actually worked for us was the old oil based Killz.

I charge less than a motel, plus they can cook and do laundry.
