I initially thought about a 15 year to pay off the loan faster, but have been told that's the wrong approach- Would you recommend buying under an LLC?

The flip side of that is to treat renters as long-term residents and take that approach.  

They have benefited well from the opportunity zone program as different asset managers approached and developed Winston Salem due to this.

In addition to approaching good mortgage broker in your market for this, I'd also recommend reaching out to any local credit unions you might have in your area. 

:)You can also try approaching some sellers about doing selling financing.
