Well, I suppose if you can get the parquet off and the plywood under can be flattened enough for reuse as an underlay, that would be one option, and that would also require you address the floor height, which IMO is the least of your worries.

@Lee Burns  I think you were addressing your post above to me, so I'll take a shot at it. . .My reasoning is that a sandwich lease carries additional risk that might prove burdensome for a new investor, particularly a new investor with limited cash reserves.
