Most people rightfully focus on the demand side, but pay much less attention to the supply side.I could go on & on & on about this, but look at the most expensive cities in the world, and they all have supply constraints, real or imagined.

It seemed to me that he was doing a meticulous job at the time, so I'm hopeful well pass with minimal disruption.Since I got this letter today (Saturday), I haven't been able to speak with either the county or the contractor, but I'd like to understand my rights and obligations a little better before I do.Who is liable for the added expense of these reports which (I assume) would not have been needed if an inspector had been able to look at the gravel base before the asphalt was poured?

I would imagine the bare minimum would be that the past 2 yrs tax return would reflect rental income for the investment unit(s), as well as not claim business losses etc for the primary residence unit.

While I can't imagine this would make it through escrow you never know what people will try.I haven't bought a tenant occupied property (yet) but wonder about the quality of work the tenant does, and liability issues if they do something wrong, or get injured while performing the task.Have you been down to the area the house is located in?

This simple error probably would not of landed me in the debtor’s jail but imagine this problem scaled up 5, 10 or even 100 times.
