Stop Doing Business With BofA!
16 April 2013 | 52 replies
Not technically a real estate company, however, due to their large amount of RE holdings/assets, this is the place for this thread. As many of you know, there is a BP thread about the terrible business practices of BofA (Bank of America) named "the official BofA Sucks Thread"This thread is not to talk about those instances, but to inform all and hopefully for us ALL to come together and fight this crooked corporation who is "Too big to fail"It seems we are all in the "entitlement age" where most Americans stick their heads in the sand and continue with their entitled behaviors.

hoa wants me to sell boat
8 October 2011 | 7 replies
The only way the HOA could force a sale of your boat is if you owe the HOA money, the HOA obtains a judicial judgment against you, levies a writ of execution on your personal property, forces an auction of your boat to satisfy the judgment, there is no statute that somehow disqualifies your boat from execution to satisfy a judgment, you have enough equity to exceed any value of the boat that is exempt from collection, and the remaining value makes it financially feasible to do so....Now, as to what the HOA can do - get copies of ALL of the governing documents, and have an expert review the documents to determine if you are violating any of the governing documents.
