I am wondering if there is some sort of professional or other path to get this property certified that it was built prior to June 1975 so banks could lend on it.Right now they were told cash offer is only option by their RE agent but I know that isn't the case they could Owner finance it to the next buyer.If anyone has suggestions please HELP!

This just means in some sort of audit or lawsuit, your personal banking records will be needed to show the movement of funds to demonstrate that everything was done cleanly/correctly.

Mortgage brokers will have the resources of hundreds of mortgage lenders, so they won't be limited to just traditional banks.Traditional banks are, in my opinion, the worst place to get investment loans.

My thought is that if I can get a property with some sort of cash flow, even if it's more work, I'll get both a cash flow going and a major education into landlording, then I can upgrade down to the line to a Class A or B.

Replacing Skylights - Who to Hire? (DC/MD/VA)
