You may want to do the same with the handyman where most of your calls go to your main handyman, but once in awhile use another one to establish a relationship.I have also heard of people using storage units near their properties to store spare TVs, routers, fridges, AC window units, washers, dryers, etc.

I am being told in a specific instance that copies of leases are not provided to owners because the legal binding agreement is between the property manager and the resident.In this case, I would have zero visibility on the nature of the lease terms, as well as who is responsible for certain costs borne (utilities, etc)If this exclusion to owners is allowed, what is required in terms of document retention in the case of termination of relationship?

As well as most folks are far to paranoid about litigation and liability when they are starting out. owning a SFR rental with proper insurance is about as safe as it gets with regard to liability as long as your not being a slumlord.
