i got a email the other day from a buyer interested in a home in a area i am not familiar with. the are looking for either a fixer upper of something move in ready and have a budget of 200000. most of the homes in the area that im researching are out of that range and those that are are already in a realtors hands. any way i can bank something out of the situation with a realtor involved?

If I did I would have to ask them if they drink and measure their body fat % to see how much of their income they spend on fast food and how quickly they wear out their shoes and that's just silly.

If homes are "flying off the shelves" then obviously there is less sense of urgency on the banks part, but if things are moving at a more normal or even slow pace then you have the negotiating upper hand, especially since a couple other buyers have already been unable to complete a sale.
