I think electric cars are going to continue to become more popular in the cities, maybe having a charging station for tenants would be appealing.

I've said No every time except one and it was to a lady with a fantastic unit on a popular street in Portland. 

I would check MLS, Craigslist, and other rental sites that are popular in your area.

I get my real estate fix here on the forums, e-mailing clients, and meeting investors for lunch etc.

If you currently have your home listed for sale and/or rent-to-own on ANY popular website (CraigsList, Rental Properties, Buy Owner, etc.) please be aware of a scam that has been making the rounds for most of this past year.This specific scam is originating out of cyber cafes located in the little known Republic of Liberia (you are probably more familiar with the Republic of Nigeria to the east, and the popular e:mail scams that promise huge payouts from the Nigerian lottery, or requests from a Nigerian diplomat who needs assistance in moving cash out of his country).

You can provide a phone number with instructions to describe the nature of the issue in order to receive a return call - or, you can go electronic altogether and require complaints to be filed through a website or e-mail. 

It does have a very good upside to it but if you read what I wrote will not have the popularity of Royal Oak or Ferndale.

Quickbooks seems to be a very popular tool for tracking income and expenses, however, before I commit to Quickbooks... in your opinion, what is the biggest disadvantage of using QuickBooks for rental properties?
