The other 4 most recent recessions were in 1980 when property values INCREASED 6.1%, 1981 (+3.5%), 2001 (+6.6%) and of course 2020, which was a real bummer all around in pretty much every other category I have to admit, but property values actually went up 7.3% on average nationwide last year.
