Stick with a midline Badger or InSinkErator, 1/2 horse or larger, and they will generally last until they DO rust through the housing.

The only big-ticket transactions involving inspections that I'm personally familiar with are horse sales, and it's not uncommon for all related parties to be present for the vet check (and those are certainly not without their own transparency issues).

So far in my life I have been riding along this path that football has set for me.

It's been a fun ride so far.

Just need to add external access to the upper floor and split utilities but I don't want to put the cart in front of the horse yet.
