If I could save up $5000 by graduation do you think it’d be smart/possible for me to get a loan on a house?

I use a company now that does the verification but that company is too small for me to depend on.

It's been helpful for me to remember that there is no such thing as a dumb question, and as you come across obstacles in search of your first deal there is usually a strategy to overcome them. 

Rent is still a loss for me correct?

I am indirectly conneted to them and it sounds like they are great people although I haven't invested with them.I don't invest with them because, even if they give investors the advertised returns, they are way too low for me given the risk.

@Chris Spencer For me, as a rule of thumb, every ~35k-40k that I invest at the moment, gets me around $800 - $900 Dollars in monthly net cash flow.

Slowed down for me as I transitioned from sales to working Remote and moving into our first home together (no not a house hack), which provided me the ability to be with my wife and future family more regularly than traveling the Western 13 states for the past two years.
