The mortgage agent had very high hopes for me, but ultimately the underwriter decided to deny the loan due to my unique circumstance.The unique circumstance: In June 2021, we closed on our single family home (primary residence) and a duplex property with a land contract. $130,000/10yr @ 2.5 interest, $1146/mo payment. 

The reason I was getting denied was that I was late on five mortgage payments the last few years and for a credit card I had back in 2016 (while I was in grad school).

I wonder why the Judge just didn't Deny the motion verses setting up a court date
