Hello James,I am retired USCG.I have used my VA Loan twice now and its an amazing tool to get property with very little money down and start gaining that equity.It has been amazing at how my wife and I went from being first time home buyers to now owning several properties in Oceanside.

In my opinion, potential buyers are looking to be in a certain school district, municipality with low taxes or close to their employer.

We on the other hand, had high W2 incomes, but to make some deals, especially in NYC, you got to show can put a lot down, even to the buyers, not only the banks.The problem came several years later, when we tried to refi to get better interest rates, cash out somewhat and maybe buy even more properties.

Ok well let me make this short im a first time home buyer and got a random real estate agent from my lender and im interested in a house i got the listing agents number but contacted my buyers agent and she told me she will be in florida for  7 days vacation  and the house is located in michigan what are my options to atleast see the home and make an offer because waiting 7 days i feel some one else make take the home?
