It seems sometimes in these public forums it is easy to disparage someone, and hard to recover sometime since posting something these days seems to become truth because it is 'on the internet.' 

That’s the honest truth.

In truth these seem to occur once every three - five years, but I’m not actively looking for them.  

The truth is that coaching over the phone is MUCH less effective that a face to face session (my concern from the beginning which Al gave me assurity on).

Truth be told I have actually seen that ON PAPER, but those are few and far between and in "F" neighborhoods and it is NOT sustainable.  

You're also not the first person to tell me to be patient and not jump in right away, so I can definitely sense a lot of truth in that.

And thanks for letting us know that Pace or his team has encouraged your tribe / members to post on BP and I guess gave the script as well since most of them all say the same thing. your the first one who actually came out and told the truth about where and why all these ra ra posts were being made..

Ok, sure, we are part of Europe, but the honest truth is that a lot of things are just endemic to the reality of the local country and, inside the country, to the reality of the region.To begin, we have to understand that Portugal is about 1000 miles x 300 miles in terms of territory what makes it easy to get around but, first problem, in small countries, eveything seems "far away".Also, because we are small, the notion of "country" is different, in the perspective of those living and investing here.

Truthfully, I would probably encourage you to pursue a more traditional employment situation, while you make real estate your side hustle for the short term.  

The truth is, you could read 100 books and still not know enough because certain things need to be learned through trial-and-error.
