I understand that landlord tenant laws were made to protect tenants at a time when tenants were taken advantage of but now it seems as if we've gone too far in the other direction.

Our (state and city both have the same expiration date) eviction moratorium is set to expire at month end but 1) I expect it to be extended 2) even if it is not extended, there is likely to be a backlog of evictions.Basically, I want as much confidence that our new tenant has been paying their rent and is not taking advantage of any foreclosure moratorium.Good luck and stay healthy.
