At these rates, it seems like it would be better (for now) to wait on the sidelines and get a high-dividend REIT.So my questions are:1.

My question is whether it’s a bad idea to put 20% down and continue renting my own place because of the convenience factors including being able to walk to work (and I work long/late hours).

Jocylyn, you have complicated questions that cannot be answered in a simple forum post. 

Could you send a picture to a foundation guy by email and get a response to the question “is this something I have to deal with today or can it wait 2 months?”  

I think I am one of the few funders of turnkey sellers that is still in the industry. and no question there are very few that survived 08 to 2010.
