@Clinton Files the bank will need you to pay them for that portion of the loan (assuming that the verbage of the loan allows for it).

Once a bankruptcy is filed, the owner no longer controls what happens to the property until the Trustee, the Court or the specific state exemption statutes decides it is no longer property of the bankruptcy estate.

If you have enough equity in the property, they may just be able to add the closing costs to the principal of the loan.

If they continue with the mortgage, they would put $2030.13 a year in equity/principal and also pay $4582 in interest.
