There is a West Texas Investor club meeting at 6:45 this evening in Odessa at Johnny's Bar B Q, 2201 Kermit Hwy. if u have time u will be exposed to players in the business.

When I do it it on my Windows PC it goes to my download folder, and I then move it to my MP3 player.

I loaned $20k to a guy last year I'd never met and didn't bother to record the deed I got because someone I trust said I could trust him (and said he'd pay me back if that guy didn't)  Reputation goes a long way in this biz when you've been at it a while.Anyway, things vary from state to state on doing it, but its essentially just two documents, a note outlining the terms of the loan and a security instrument (security deed, deed of trust) that encumbers the property with the note so you cant sell it without paying them. 

I personally run team players from various companies.

I always recommend starting with the local REI (real estate investing) clubs in the area to plug into the local players and pool of buyers & sellers in the marketplace.

Bill Gulley  you would not be referring to what Rialto and other big players did with tarp money they got for no interest then used that money to buy up banks that went under for pennies on the dollar then had the loans refi out with other lenders..

To use an analogy if a football player is a free agent, is unethical for him to talk to more than one team at a time?

Have you bothered to do a feasibility study?  

Doesn't bother me as a buy and hold guy, but thought I would mention it.
