Thats going to determine some of the decision making I'd think - you could always partially pay down the loan to achieve cash flow or breakeven or even a little relief - could be the best move if you think the property is well located and an otherwise good long term investment

@Ana Vhan - The IRS needs to see the same *taxpayer* on both sides of the exchange.If you file jointly, and your trust is disregarded, you should be able to take title in the name of the trust.Your tax professional can confirm, and your QI can support that decision.
