The job market is steadily growing year after year, the cost of living is far more reasonable than the likes of a Chicago or Manhattan, and because of Columbus' central location, travelling to those major cities is quite easy.

The sellers also have 100 acres of land to sell separately and the buyer was taking 12 extra acres.  6 months later, the deal still had not closed and the buyer was attempting to get stipulations placed on the rest of the acreage the sellers owned (no industrial, no trailers etc).

It's only a stepping stone to break free.While you are slaving, eat ramen, roommate up or live in trailer, avoid Starbucks and tuck every dollar you can squeeze out into a bank account. need 20% down and money for materials. so for 80K home (trashed), you will want 35K banked to get started, just a rough idea.Then, get pre-approved.
