You should be earning money and educating yourself simultaneously throughout this entire process.If you can have a 2-4 years of "on the job training" under a RE professional and $20k-$30k saved up >>(with NO debt)<< by the time you finish your finance degree then you will be in a pretty good place.Good luck!
