It can have some upside with minor updates but overall the fixes should be minimal.However, if you do live in the market and you do have the skills to fix something up then that might be a good option.There are plenty of other variables but that's what I'd look at to start.

In addition to sales and marketing skills, you'll want to build a team of professionals that you can rely on (title, escrow, appraisers, inspectors, contractors) as well as contact as the government agencies you will occassionally visit.
