In Colorado, landlords must treat Section 8 payments as "income," and all income sources are protected. 

I have friends that are doing ver well in the Colorado market.

I'm curious if any other counties are looking at changing the assessment of residential short term rentals to commercial for the purposes of property tax like El Paso County (Colorado Springs) is? 

The rub is youll have nobody to look to for reimbursement​ if the sober house converts to a heroine den mid tenancy.
