i am a newbie investor and i am interested in discovering what markets are good to invest in, i live in NYC and i feel like investing here would set me back financially.  

Greetings, I'm Sean Vitale and I found my way to BP through Mister Money Moustache on a search for financial freedom. 6 months ago I had no financial plans and I almost bought a single family home with no understanding of what that meant for my life or how it factored into the big picture. 

Thanking god every day for my blessings already and needed a little help financially and really has helped me out.

The tenant then replied and told me he and his wife are considering filing for bankruptcy due to financial problems.  

I'm assuminh that if I do the latter, then I'd also use my personal account for repairs, maintenance & improvements to my unit as well.Is there some other method?

It seams like an area that is starting to improve and is pretty close to the Grosse Pointe areas which are pretty nice and pricey here.The asking price on the property is $46,900.

And you’re right I’ll do it over and over and over again until I’m where I wanna be financially, however I gotta see how the wife will handle it lol

If I buy a property in need of work or improvements my after repair/improvement revenues are fairly predictable because they are based on what that market is generating today for a similar property.
