There are some options, less these days in the Covid world, but they are restrictive and less attractive.

I have house-hacked in Brighton Heights for the past year and have had a very positive experience - I feel safe there, have found great tenants, and the numbers in the area support good cashflow.

When you need to see a deed restriction from 1925 in person because the scanned copy is illegible, you want someone local and familiar with the county to go down and there and get everything taken care of right away.From my perspective, I also prefer a title company I know and trust to make sure the transaction closes smoothly.

And with the housing crisis, San Diego has eased restrictions on adding ADUs to your property.

I hope they don't take that to mean that covers them on all damage the pet may do, which could be much more than the pet fees.If I put some sort of breed restriction in place, is there a way to prove that without buying from a breeder?
