Hello my husband Rod and I are starting out in the investment game  we are excited to get started and meet many other investors we can work with  we have three young children and are tired of being trapped in the rat race   

Congrats on your first post and stepping into the investment game. 

A baseball, basketball, hockey, or soccer stadium could be different though as there is a steadier level of activity associated with 40-80 games per year than just 8.

She needs to be a grown up and accept that she has skin in this game.

It's never a good idea to just pick one and trust they'll be a good fit without a good interview.Since you're new to the game make sure to go with someone who will help you plan on top of helping you purchase.

Time is your greatest ally in the buy and hold real estate game.  

My usual game plan is to offer 5% below the low market comparable.  

Many times I use the commission when figuring out my numbers.Until an offer is signed by all parties, it is fair game and not unlikely for a seller to accept a better offer before another offer is signed.
