I suspect that since there was supposedly some agreement that she would do some repairs in exchange for a "discounted" rent, then she is not a qualified tenant.

We buy distressed property, rehab, hold some and sell the rest.My biggest tip for foreign buyers is to make sure that they have people on the ground that have their interest at heart and not to invest no matter how long it takes to establish the right contacts.Also not to buy hoping the property will go up in value.
