A bad PM can cost you a lot of money in the long run, and a good one can save/make you more than you would have saved using the cheaper option.

Try to narrow down your options to the top 3-4.

Your competing with big national lenders that are offering financing with low rates by buying the rate down.

They can provide more options and work with several lenders. 

Interestingly enough, Kin insurance, was actually one of the first options that had popped up during my initial online search.

Both are great options! 

We are seeing if this is an option as we have ourselves in a scaling-up phase - we have purchased a commercial property local to us and are borrowing from our retirement to do so, with the intent of paying back with the possible sale of this home.
