The OP is from NJ which has none and my state of Texas has 1The difficulty to using the program is also compounded by the fact that the property must lie in your jurisdiction if your are an officer/fire fighter or within the school district if one is a teacher

Falls Church city is just above 2 square miles and has highly ranked schools, although there are a couple of regular Falls Church neighborhood pockets that feed into the Mclean school districts, which means you may end up appealing to families, if that would be of interest.

Although we like Wimauma's "Southshore Bay" community and its houses available for rent more than the community and available houses of Wesley Chapel's "Epperson," the school district in Wesley Chapel is significantly better.

I would recommend that you first take a look at the town's zoning maps and bylaws to determine the zoning district in which your lot is located and the minimum lot size requirements for that zoning district as it relates to square footage, frontage, setbacks, etc.
