As you already discovered, lots of resources here, I think the more valuable resource here is the connection with local experts and simillar minded RE investor, some have decades of experience that they willing to share.

I think it's very important to have areas you focus on and become an expert in, but also keep in mind that deals can be found anywhere.

Hi all, we have a 200 unit 19 building apartment complex under contract in Las Vegas, and the roofs don't look great, however I'm not an expert in roofs.Does anyone have a recommendation for a good roofing company who could inspect the roofs and get me an estimate?

Roy, that is extremely funny...however if that agent ever receives an offer frome you again he will probably throw it in the trash...at least that's what I would do.
