Like many other aspiring investors I read Rich Dad Poor Dad many years ago and wanted for the longest time to invest in real estate.

On the other hand, if you have developed business relationships with the attorneys, you are more likely to have a deal go more smoothly, perhaps even a deal brought to you, or treated as an insider.I like @Shawn Bowen's post because it reminds us that sometimes the easiest way to get rich is to offer to help the other person.

Hey Rich Welling I wonder if a short sale would be possible with a commercial building?

I just want to say that while I AM a real estate agent, that is NOT why I am here, well at least not to try to get business for that part of my income.I am here because years ago my dad got me hooked on the rich dad / poor dad mentality, which I'm sure most of you know about.

Until your rich you should not leave money sitting around anyways it needs to be put to work in other assets to generate enough money to make you rich.

Let's try to get Rich Weese and @J Scott, also @Brian Burke, I listened to his Podcast today, and he mentioned investing in other areas.

My family all thought I was crazy for trying to get into real estate investing at age 21 but after reading enough about the industry and after so many rich dad poor dad books, you feel compelled to act.

There's an old saying "cashflow pays the bills, but appreciation makes you rich."
