start by looking for prior threads that deal with that area in that part of Virginia and Maryland

The condo bylaws said we need to publicly post, certified mail or hand deliver meeting notice 14 days prior with meeting place and time. 

From the time Hawaii was identified as a strong possibility I began market research ( I did live in Hawaii for four years prior so it is not a completely new area for me), educating myself on marketing, building a real estate business, generating leads, the top brokers and agents in the area, successful business models and was to track leads.

This lot includes a foundation stubbed for electrical (underground)/plumbing/sewer/water etc. the former property was deemed a total loss in a house fire and the prior home owner cleared and stubbed the foundation (slab on grade).

Going forward we'll have an electrician inspect all properties prior to purchase with possible K&T, so we know exactly what we're getting into and can better negotiate the price.
