Always great to hear from a fellow Texan.So you want to be a builder?  

Being an exclusive buyer's agent is great, but lets be honest, I'd love to get some listings under my belt.I'm in an up and coming area, new builds are going up left and right, property being sold for new builds, all that jazz.Either way, I've been driving around trying to stay on top of the builds, but the minute a board is laid they're listed with an inside realtor, which is obviously a great benefit to the realtor and the builder, but how can I get in front of builders before construction starts. 

Here is the scoop on our new build from luxury builder Toll Brothers.

The builder only had 3 homes in this subdivision left and was will to sell at cost.

Same as with a builder who buys a lot and takes 18 months to build a house. 

And yes, as many have said, experience and success investing for your own portfolio is the best resume builder, in my experience.

A sales rep with the builder called me and said they need to sell this house fast.
