Examples would be tenant using a plumbing vent on the roof as an attachment point for a clothes line ;-)   We didn't think we needed anything in the lease that mentioned "don't attach anything to the house without permission in writing".

The company that owns the property has loans, so I want to refi the house and use the cash to pay off the company's loans so the debt is attached to the asset it belongs to.I know that in the twisted logic of the banking world, a 12-month lease in the middle of an eviction moratorium is a safer bet than an escrow account that ALREADY contains the money owed by the respective tenants through the end of the year, guaranteeing the rent will be paid.. so how do other people do it?
