I still do a lot of internet research including BBB but most of the contractors are not in BBB.

Any one have any good articles or podcasts to check out on this specific topic?

If s/he marketed good enough to motivate you to make a post on an internet forum, I would imagine his/her phone is ringing off the hook!!!

Most of the articles I've read state that you still want to make sure to take care of any big ticket items to avoid "equity stake" issues.
