Are these rare events?

I got to hang out with Rowe and Tierney in Utah and Chicago and sat in on Marks 2 day weekend event on Tax and Legal in person.

There are live music, paint and sips, hooks lounges, events, concerts, etc. 

That said, I've joined a couple of local real estate investing groups here in Australia, and thinking of attending the next event when it comes up.

The silver lining of an event like this is the money spent for rebuilding and replacement of household goods will prime the economy. 

On the subject of Quit Claim deeds (but not lending per se) I've heard of a technique when buying a property subject to the existing mortgage to offer a pre-signed Quit Claim deed to the seller to be held in escrow by title company or attorney as a protection mechanism for the seller in the event the buyer doesn't follow through with their obligation to make the mortgage payments.
