With a broker not only is time saved because you didn’t have to go lender by lender but rather just one person and the broker already has a point of contact with the lender and understands they’re underwriting process and programs, you also get a non bias opinion given they don’t work directly with the lender.

They do this in order to protect the government money and not pay more (voucher program) in one area than what tradition rent price/ salaries have demanded.

A person who has become successful in real estate has not done it by taking advantage of new people's time... you are WAY more likely to get screwed over when you sign up and pay money to some of these 'real estate success' programs that you can buy online.So, don't go into it thinking that they are out to use you... go into it giving 100% to find ways to save that Mentor's time and you will be rewarded with some awesome knowledge transfer.
