There's a lot more injustice that goes on around seniors in this country that *is* legal and goes unchecked.

Talk to the local police precinct if possible, and/or pull crime stats for the immediate area.For a long-distance investment, I'd be exceptionally leery, pretty close to just saying don't do it.

If one is  thinking the industry self polices itself then that is a misconception that I try to bring to light..

But institutions were also focused on other segments where there were renters of choice, like student housing, senior housing, corporate housing in areas that where workers who could otherwise afford to buy, don't buy because they know they aren’t going to be there permanently.  

My neighbors don't want to wake up at 3am so if it starts getting loud it will give me a head start on calling the police or texting the guest.
