Never the less my question would be good pre-screening tactics for finding good contractors?

Did they say how/why it was missed upon the initial screening?

For example, the cost of property insurance doesn’t double if you double the ARV of the home.This rule of thumb is good for quick screening and it works, but it should never be relied upon.

Screen everyone fully for credit and evictions. 

Screen your tenants really well and make sure their parents are co-signing.

I would get details on what type of screening was done as well as other reasons they could've been denied for.
