It takes a shift in thinking, because most of the examples given are for a small service business, but once you get your mind around "the tenant is the customer and the unit is the job" it works well.

BTW, if a buyer wanted a denial letter from me I would certainly provide it, I always try to keep my customer (the borrower) satisfied, it's just that I don't know of anything that would require me to do so.

You really want the tenant to view you as on their side - the last thing you want is for them to think of you as a necessary evil.To build a positive relationship, you need to focus on excellent customer service which includes: providing a great experience, being responsive and clear in your communication, and occasionally doing things to show you care.
