My honest suggestion, is that you go look up a local real estate attorney as a lot of them deal regularly with investors and will be able to work through what method is best for you.

Our house rules already prohibit the growing of any "crops or plants for the purpose of consumption" and the use of hydroponic growing methods within the units of our buildings - I do not care if they are growing tomatoes, blueberries or cannabis ... it cannot occur inside.
