My biggest flaws are staying organized, so right now I made a bunch of folders on my laptop to save certain documents and information that I can always fall back on when I have a question or I need to locate something very easily.

For that reason, I suspect you would be fighting various organizations tooth and nail to do something like this at a 'business' scale/level. 

This will be my biggest project to date so I really want to get and stay organized.

I can't answer which questions are best since I've only done this a handful of times, but being organic as possible and creating a relationship seems to be the best approach for me so far.  

Not only did I use QuickBooks for my rentals, I used it for several of my other businesses, as it can do multiple companies, and when I semi retired, did bookkeeping for a non-profit, and several other small businesses.
