My experience has been so far that the website and application is rather intuitive and easy to navigate but once you hit the "submit" button, the confusion and frustration begins.  

If anyone has any advice on house to navigate into this field of larger MF/commercial deals please I am all ears.

It seems like the city and the MMSD have a lot a grants available for improvement, I just haven't gotten the courage up to navigate them. 

I think its about time to start an in-person meet up at a brewery or a casual bar for drinks.

It's hard enough navigating this process in the area you live in, never mind a couple of thousand miles away.I know this process won't be easy, and I am by no means giving up, just a bit discouraging to have 100% of investors tell you this is a horrible time to get into the game.

Seems like the overall vibe of BiggerPockets/House Hackers is to do it yourself but we keep going back and forth.Pros- We will live close to our rental (30 mins) and my husband is very handy and can navigate most repairs.Cons- We have 2 little kids and don’t want to deal with all the things.Any suggestions?
